Lineup is primarily a tool to allow organizations to manage their volunteers or SMEs, and it's the organizations who are the primary users. However, to get the most out of Lineup, your volunteers or SMEs will get an email or two, asking them to accept a team invitation, complete a form, or fill out a survey.
Those end-users may not know what Lineup is (we think it's sad, too!), so it may be useful to send out an introductory email ahead of time, just so they know to trust us.
To help with this part, here's some language you could use. This is a starting point, of course. Please add to or remove whatever you'd like.
Thank you for being a valued volunteer for YOUR ORGANIZATION. As we are always striving to improve our volunteer/SME program, we have adopted a new platform called Lineup to help our team better manage our volunteer/SME data and communications.
We will be using Lineup to collect information from our volunteers/SMEs such as surveys, invites to participate in workshops, and forms to gather information like availability and profile information.
To ensure that you receive messages from Lineup, please add email@example.com to your address book to prevent those messages from going to your spam folder
