Merge tags allow you to personalize outgoing emails. They work similar to Microsoft Word's mail merge function. You can insert these codes, or tags, into your emails as stand-ins. When you go to send out the email, we'll swap out the codes for the actual value.
For example, if you wanted to signify a team name, but didn't want to type out the team name for each email (in a template, for example), you could use a merge tag for Team Name, and we'll do the rest of the work.
Merge tags are great in conjunction with email templates.
