Edit-mode allows you to add, remove, or edit values for system and custom fields similar to an excel spreadsheet directly in the platform. Edit-mode currently appears in three places: the people page, in a specific team, or in Team Roster reports.
People Page
To access edit-mode from the people page, first select the grid view.
Slide the Edit-Mode toggle on and you’re able to add or clear values from that page.
Make sure to add the columns you’d like to edit by selecting the Manage Columns button, then “add New Column” button toward the bottom of the panel.
You are able to add system fields and person custom fields.
Please note: tags are managed through Tags in the admin section and can also be added/removed in bulk through bulk actions. See bulk actions here.
In a Team
In the Team Roster page of any team, click the grid view button located on the left side toward the top of the page.
Once in grid view, slide the edit-mode toggle on to edit. Grid view will also display the manage columns panel. Remember that tracked fields must first be turned on for that specific team before you can add them to the columns.
Edit mode from the team allows you to add/remove data to seat dates, status, and tracked fields.
Please note: Edit mode is also available for the All Seats tab, with limited functionality. You can add/remove/edit data for start and end dates or status.
Team Rosters Reports
From the reports page, select Team Rosters. Here, grid view is default. You’ll see the edit-mode toggle towards the right of the page. Sliding that on allows you to edit system fields, person custom fields, and tracked fields.
