Both the invitation email that contains a personalized link to an application form, and the confirmation email that a person receives when they submit the application can be customized.

Application Invitation Email
By default, the application's subject line and header will read: "Apply to volunteer with [NAME OF YOUR ORGANIZATION]"
And by default, the body content of the email will read: "[PERSON'S FIRST NAME, Help [NAME OF YOUR ORGANIZATION] by updating your information."
Both of these items can be customized.
Application Confirmation Email
By default, the application's subject line and header will read: "[APPLICATION FORM NAME] received"
And by default, the body content of the email will read: "Thank you for completing [APPLICATION FORM NAME]"
You can customize either of these emails.
How to customize application emails
To customize your invitation and confirmation emails:
- Click on the Admin button in the top navigation bar
- Click "Application Forms" to get the list of your applications.
- Click the specific application that you wish to customize.
- Click on the sharing tab. the "Sharing" tab of the application.
Note: You must be an admin to customize emails.
Once on the sharing tab, you will see a preview of the two emails that you can customize: the Invitation Email and the Confirmation Email. Click on the pencil icon in the top-right of either to open the edit sidebar.
You can customize the From name, the Reply to email, the subject line, and the contents of the invitation or confirmation. Make sure to save your changes!
